Cebu City

Cebu City is located in the region of Visayas, Philippines, on the Cebu island, which is one of the most densely populated islands in my country.

Cebu City is the second largest city in the Philippines. Metro Manila located on Luzon island is by far the largest city, and Davao City located in southern Mindanao island is the third.
Cebu serves as a hub of commerce and transportation of Visayan region and many people from surrounding area seek the employment in this city.

Cebu is connected to Manila and Davao by numerous daily flights. The sea transport system is also well established. Super ferry system makes a few voyages to Manila and back every week. If you are not in a hurry this is an excellent way to go to Manila, or Cebu, especially when the weather is calm and sunny. Newcomer to sea transportation is a Supercat ferry system serving the larger cities on surrounding Visayan islands. Supercat is a twin hull fast boat where you travel in airline like comfort in air-conditioned cabin. Nevertheless, the most interesting and cheapest way to travel is by pamboat, a polynesian style boat with outriggers. Diesel powered pamboats serve many islands from Cebu island, Camotes being one of them.
Cebu City has a large harbor serving domestic and international container and bulk traffic.
